Wowee Science-Fantastic
I found this zine, Wowee Science-Fantastic, at a comic book show. I can’t find any info on it or anybody involved, but scanned it for posterity and the fact that the cover is a beautiful screenprint.

The only hope for survival lay in time
I don’t usually post topical news, but the passing of Chris Marker deserves a note. There has been much written on his 1963 short film La Jetée and I’m not sure if there’s much I can add except that it stands as one of the most important works on my fictional landscape. Watch his work, read my stories. I hope there is an apparent connection.

The End of the Year
The first year of Beta Decay has almost reached it’s conclusion. I would have liked to have finished more, but I think 13 stories across three issues is more than enough for the inaugural year. 2012 looks to be promising, with a lot of work in the pipeline and some longer stories gaining momentum. I would love to have some “different” issues [photography, interviews, ???] round out the run, as well. I hope all who read Beta Decay this year enjoyed them or at least had something to think about on a train ride or car trip. Anyway, here’s something to dwell on until Issue #4:
